Women's Month 2024

Women’s Month (March) is such a special month for Glory Reborn to continue to encourage our amazingly talented female employees, the women in the community whom we are privileged to serve, and the partner organizations we work with. At the start of Women’s Month while we were busy with the activities to encourage, empower and bless women a young lady came to the clinic carrying a large box of fresh apples.

This sweet woman, Mommy Q, smiling so joyfully, proudly said that she wanted to give this box of apples to Glory Reborn staff as we celebrate Women’s Month. She began to share how grateful she was for Glory Reborn’s assistance during her pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

Now, almost two years later she was here with such thankfulness. Mommy Q was now working full time and providing for her family. Out of her own paycheck she wanted to give back the blessing which she received. 🥲

This is picture of Glory Re-Born. The picture of sowing in the love, hope and care of Jesus into hearts and years later seeing the beautiful fruit and testimony of God’s glory, His goodness re-born. What an encouragement to our staff, to other mommies and to YOU who have sown into Glory Reborn and mommies just like Mommy Q. Truly the impact of glory re-born is so beautifully evident.

Hebrews 13:16: “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

Women’s Month also brought a special celebration of generations! From 2004 to 2024 we are rejoicing for a family of Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies and Hopeful Hearts.

Mommy Angel, who was born at Glory Reborn in 2004, has welcomed a precious little one of her own at Glory Reborn, officially marking another second-generation baby for us.

Perhaps what made this moment even more special was that Angel’s mother still had her own prenatal card and her Baby Party invitation card from 2004.

It was extra special to have Angel attend a baby party 20 years later, now with her own baby. Thank you for providing generations with the legacy of health and hope.

We praise the Lord for our dedicated, kind, and gentle ministry leader, Mrs. Gigi or as some of our mommies call her, “Mrs. Wellness”.

In the first months of 2024, Glory Reborn distributed 471 Bibles, ensuring that every mother hears the Gospel and receives prayer through our ministry program.

Ministry sessions are held five days a week, multiple times a day, both during outpatient consultations and postpartum consultations. We are honored to continue the main mission of Glory Reborn, which is to make Jesus known to every heart.

We are actively seeking partnerships and donations to upgrade our microscope in Glory Reborn’s Level II Clinical Laboratory. The total cost of a new microscope is $1,500.

This equipment plays a vital role in the comprehensive care provided by Glory Reborn, particularly in our pregnancy-related laboratory screenings, such as pap smears.

mWell HealthHub has improved our patient experience, provided easier access to care and enhanced our efficiency and accuracy in patient management digitally. As the top user in Cebu, Glory Reborn had the honor of sharing our story at the company event as well as a visit to Glory Reborn by some of the mWell core team members.

Shout out to Glory Reborn’s Peace Corps volunteer, Nghi Nguyen who is an amazing part of Glory Reborn’s Maternal Mental Wellness program.

Glory Reborn continues to partner with the Department of Social Welfare and Development and is looking forward to further partnering for livelihood training and programs for mothers at Glory Reborn.

They graciously printed and gifted us some of these precious memories on International Women's day and provided food packs for our patients and staff that day.

Among their initiatives is placing donation cans in their member's restaurants, with the proceeds benefiting worthy causes. Their latest recipient is Glory Reborn.
